First impression when i went in is very unique modern zen design. The restaurant separated from a different of compartments from small couples tables to family tables , sushi bar and japan style rooms.

Firstly the service is very good there and they explain well on their menu. The price is slightly a bit expensive than normal japanese restaurant though but here they serve fresh imported sashimi. Im surprise they have Uni ( sea urchin ) here. The green teas are serve free here with unlimited refill just like other local japanese site.

For starter, i order Coral Roll which is sushi rolls topped with salmon and salmon roe. Compare with Kampachi, i give higher score for Rakuzen. Price at RM22 per plate of 6 pieces.

As i mention earlier, sea urchin are very rare to serve especially in KL and i never really tasted fresh sea urchin before. So for a taste test, i asked for quarter tray of Nama Uni which cost RM45. 1 tray of Nama Uni cost RM150… whoah.. expensive. And the quarter tray of the Nama Uni just slightly one small tea cup only. The taste result was more than i expected, delicious, fresh and raw. Tasted abit sweet and melt like uncold ice cream inside my tongue.

For main course, since there is too many choice of set in the menu i decided to order the biggest set of all - Rakuzen Maru Bento which is combinations of Sashimi, Yakimono, Tempura, Sunomono, Nimono, Chawanmushi, Nigiri Sushi, Konomono, and Miso Soup. Price at RM75 this set can actually feel 2 people tummy. The sushi was so so since it was set dinner but what worth it is the Unagi which i think very nice and huge for it size. The tempura is slightly normal and the highlight i think was the Chawanmushi. Never so in my life taste such smooth-melt in-your mouth boiled egg before. I will give 7/10 for this set dinner. OK for couples to dine.

As you can see, i had so much to eat and I found it very worth it. I would so come here again if I had the money. Starting month already pk…haha…
